Why choose a Graduate Intern therapist?

Choosing an intern as your therapist offers a unique opportunity for high-quality, affordable care. Intern therapists are passionate, well-trained professionals working under the direct supervision of our experienced licensed marriage and family therapists. This means you receive the latest, research-backed techniques combined with expert oversight, giving you the benefit of two clinicians working toward your relationship’s success.

Interns are also deeply invested in their clients’ growth, bringing fresh perspectives, empathy, and dedication to each session. Plus, their lower fees make therapy accessible to more people, ensuring you get the support you need without financial stress.

If you are looking for compassionate, skilled, and affordable relationship help, an intern therapist could be the perfect fit for you. Call to schedule a free consultation today.

Co-Therapy with a Licensed Supervisor and Intern

If you are looking for a more experienced therapist at a lower rate, we are offering a limited number of co-therapy spots. Co-therapy sessions would include having both an intern clinician and a licensed marriage and family therapist plan and participate in your sessions. Call to find out more information about co-therapy and to schedule a free consultation.

I am a student therapist at Arizona State University who is interested in the work that occurs in the intersection of meaning and identity. My interests and approaches to therapy are rooted in a belief that our struggles are not a sign that something is “wrong” rather that something important is asking to be better understood. Drawing from my previous mental health related work of providing behavioral therapy services to neurodivergent children and adolescents, my respect for different ways of feeling, thinking, and relating has been fundamentally changed for the best.  This experience continues to ground my perspective in compassion and curiosity, with an understanding that therapy is not a “one size fits all model.” Each client is an individual with their own unique experiences and stories! I work with you to create a space that is emotionally honest, intellectually engaging, and mostly one that is authentic to the human experience.

Outside of being in school or being in clinic, I love to bake desserts and engage with various forms of art. Whether that be painting, coloring, or working with clay, listening to music and visiting local stores and restaurants, I love to keep a creative lens to life!

As an intern therapist, I bring warmth, curiosity, and a collaborative approach to therapy. My experience driving a special needs school bus deepened my understanding of unique challenges faced by clients and their families. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to creating a space where clients feel safe, seen, and respected. Utilizing a solution-focused approach, I help clients build on their strengths, clarify goals, and move toward meaningful change. I’m genuinely excited about my clients’ possible futures and honored to support them as they grow, heal, and create lives that feel more aligned and fulfilling.
I help people sort through what’s feeling stuck and move toward what they want more of in their lives. I offer a warm, curious, and safe space focused on strengths, clarity, and real-life next steps. I’m excited to help clients build futures that feel hopeful, connected, and true to who they are.

It can be hard to know how to help when kids, teens, or young adults are struggling. I offer a warm, supportive, and engaging space where people can feel understood as they navigate big feelings, transitions, and their life long journey. I will partner with you and invite you to reach out to see if we’re a good fit.
