Collaborative Counseling Institute

Collaborative Counseling Institute was founded with the goal of creating a unique experience for clients and clinicians. As experienced marriage and family therapists, we know how intimidating beginning therapy can be and are so familiar with the nervousness that comes with therapist shopping! The movies don’t really do us justice; we have better cardigans (and you don’t have to lay on the couch).

We want you to know…

We created this space with YOU in mind.

So come on in- grab yourself a drink from the fridge or a snack while you wait. We’ll guide you through the process.

Our Approach

Our therapists are trained in multiple modalities to help you reach your treatment goals. We believe humans are hard-wired to connect, which is why our primary lens is through Attachment Theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Many of our clients reach out for support through relational struggles- whether it be difficulty in relationship with self or others, we offer an approach that is individualized to your needs. Our therapists are also trauma-informed and trained in models that are evidence-based to assist in the reconciliation of difficult events. We facilitate corrective experiences to help you heal.

Modalities Offered:

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) (couples/individuals/families)
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
  • Narrative Therapy
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Attachment Theory
  • Gottman Method
  • Solution Focused Therapy
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Mindfulness and Strengths Based Practices
