Why choose a Graduate Intern therapist?
Choosing an intern as your therapist offers a unique opportunity for high-quality, affordable care. Intern therapists are passionate, well-trained professionals working under the direct supervision of our experienced licensed marriage and family therapists. This means you receive the latest, research-backed techniques combined with expert oversight, giving you the benefit of two clinicians working toward your relationship’s success.
Interns are also deeply invested in their clients’ growth, bringing fresh perspectives, empathy, and dedication to each session. Plus, their lower fees make therapy accessible to more people, ensuring you get the support you need without financial stress.

I am a student therapist at Arizona State University who is interested in the work that occurs in the intersection of meaning and identity. My interests and approaches to therapy are rooted in a belief that our struggles are not a sign that something is “wrong” rather that something important is asking to be better understood. Drawing from my previous mental health related work of providing behavioral therapy services to neurodivergent children and adolescents, my respect for different ways of feeling, thinking, and relating has been fundamentally changed for the best. This experience continues to ground my perspective in compassion and curiosity, with an understanding that therapy is not a “one size fits all model.” Each client is an individual with their own unique experiences and stories! I work with you to create a space that is emotionally honest, intellectually engaging, and mostly one that is authentic to the human experience.
Outside of being in school or being in clinic, I love to bake desserts and engage with various forms of art. Whether that be painting, coloring, or working with clay, listening to music and visiting local stores and restaurants, I love to keep a creative lens to life!
